She, along with actresses Maureen O’Hara, Maria Montez, and Yvonne De Carlo, were nicknamed the ‘Queen of Technicolor’.

Rhonda was in a traveling gospel quartet called The Four Girls together with Jane Russell, Connie Haines, and Beryl Davis. The group released the album titled Make a Joyful Noise (1958), which went on to sell more than a million records.

Her alma mater was also attended by a string of Hollywood A-listers including Angelina Jolie, Betty White, Nicolas Cage, David Schwimmer, Lenny Kravitz, Jonathan Silverman, Gina Gershon, Rob Reiner, and Crispin Glover.
